Terms of Service
These Terms of Service describe how Wayfarer Zuevcheff provides its private, in-home meal-prep service. By submitting a booking request through this website, you agree to the terms described below. This is a first version of these terms and will be reviewed and refined ahead of public launch.
Service Description
Wayfarer Zuevcheff provides private, in-home meal preparation services. A chef prepares meals in the client's residential kitchen, working from an agreed-upon menu.
Booking Requests
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A booking is only confirmed once accepted by Wayfarer Zuevcheff following direct communication about your menu, household, and availability. Requested cooking dates are not guaranteed until confirmed, and menu substitutions may be necessary based on ingredient or scheduling availability.
Pricing
Prices shown on this website (currently starting at $260 for the 3–4 Day plan and $350 for the Weekly plan) are starting prices for a household of up to 4 members. Additional household members, complex menu requests, unusually large quantities, or service outside the standard area may require an adjusted quote, which will be discussed with you before your booking is confirmed.
Groceries and Personal Shopping
Groceries are billed and paid for separately from the chef service fee. After your menu is approved, a grocery cart is prepared for your review; you pay the grocery store or delivery platform directly. Wayfarer Zuevcheff does not process grocery payments on your behalf.
Personal grocery shopping — where the chef shops for ingredients on your behalf — is an optional add-on and is not included in the standard chef service fee. It may involve an additional fee, the amount of which is to be determined and will be confirmed with you directly before your appointment.
Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
Allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed before your menu is finalized. Wayfarer Zuevcheff operates in residential kitchens shared with other household use, and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or eliminate the risk of cross-contact with allergens.
Session Length and Cleanup
A first cooking session usually takes approximately 7–8 hours; actual time may vary based on the menu, plan, household size, and kitchen setup. Cleanup covers cookware, work surfaces, and other areas used during the cooking session, and does not include unrelated household cleaning or pre-existing mess.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
A formal cancellation and rescheduling policy will be published here before public launch. Please contact us directly with any scheduling questions in the meantime.
First-Two-Sessions Promotion
New clients receive $50 off each of their first two completed cooking sessions. This offer applies only to new clients and only to the first two completed sessions; it does not apply to grocery costs or to optional grocery-shopping charges, is not redeemable for cash, and does not reduce the starting prices shown on this website.
Insurance
Wayfarer Zuevcheff carries business liability insurance for in-home cooking services. This insurance provides an added layer of protection while work is performed in your kitchen; it is not a guarantee that every incident will be covered or reimbursed, and coverage is subject to the terms of the applicable policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wayfarer Zuevcheff's liability arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for the cooking session giving rise to the claim. Wayfarer Zuevcheff is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
